Sam Wilson: Captain America #01 - 2015, October 14 [ 01 04 ]
Steve is helping Sam over the comms while Steve fishes and Sharon sunbathes in their small rowboat, but Sam goes so deep that he loses the signal. Sharon reminds him that Sam has taken on HYDRA before. He knows the mission. Sharon tells Steve to just try to enjoy the day.

Sam Wilson: Captain America #06 - 2016, February 3 [ 21 22 ]
Fury, Jr (and yes, we're making that distinction right now, because even though Fury Sr is dead, comics.) and Sam inform Steve and Sharon that Ian is presumed dead; Steve and Sharon say that Ian is a fighter.

Sam Wilson: Captain America #07 - 2016, March 30 [ 36 ]
Steve accepts his death at Crossbones hands and looks back on his life. He remembers people he has known, and when he thinks of Ian and Sharon, he thinks that he can die proud, die happy, and that he can know peace.

Steve Rogers: Captain America #01 - 2016, May 25 [ Cover 05 06 10 11 12 14 15 16 19 20 ]
Sharon is now Commander Carter with SHIELD, and also SHIELD's Congressional liaison. She first appears over comms in the issue, organizing a mission to stop a Hydra agent from blowing up a train with Steve (code name: Patriot) in the field. Steve thinks of her as the love of his life and also implies that she's an inspiration of his. Rick Jones, who released many of SHIELD's secrets under the code name the Whisperer, is working as part of her team as the computer expert. At the moment, he's locked out of the train's computers, preventing SHIELD from hacking the train to stop. Rick tells Cap that he'll do his best, but he might have to guide Steve through taking over the controls. Sharon comes in over the comms, announcing that it's her, and Steve patiently reminds her that he knows her voice. She asks Steve if he sees the bomb, and Steve replies that he sees him - Hydra's suicide bomber, Robbie Dean Tomlin. Steve has concerns about other Hydra suicide bombers, but Sharon reminds him that, per their discussion - they're only arguments when she loses, he has backup (i.e., Jack Flag and Free Spirit). The two are... zealous in their gratitude to prove themselves and be relevant again, and Sharon just sighs and says "My life is ridiculous," before checking in with Steve again.

Steve punches one of the bad guys and quips, "That'll teach them to be disrespectful of the quiet car." Sharon quips back, "Oh, God, never tell another joke." Rick gets into the computer, but Steve wants to save Robbie. He jumps to the front of the train. Robbie detonates the bomb despite Steve's attempts to talk him down, and Steve gets out just in time before telling Sharon that it's over.

When they're home again, Sharon patches Steve up with a band-aid, calling him a big baby when he hisses in pain. She gives him his iced tea and notes that he used to know how to duck. When he says that he's still getting used to the new shield, she gives him a hint - try putting it in front of him. He's also getting used to being in his body again, and she says that not for nothing, but maybe the next time he runs into a cosmic cube girl, he can mention he has a partner, too. She then calls him out on making excuses and demands to know what's going on in his head. He admits that the new Hydra is getting under his skin, and Sharon insists that he saved a lot of lives and tried to save Robbie, too. He might not be able to save everyone, but she loves how hard he tries. He says, "You always did know how to play me," and she replies, "For a government agent, you're an easy mark." She reminds him of the meeting they have with "You-know-who" in fifteen minutes and urges him to finish his iced tea.

"You-know-who" turns out to be Maria Hill. Maria is keeping up with all the recent news when Sharon enters, and Sharon notes that it must be a lot to handle. Maria says that it will all die down when NCIS comes on. She gets a little flippant when talking about Sharon's mission report - noting that they couldn't stop the train from going boom, but it still looked cool as hell on YouTube, and Sharon reminds her that a young man died. Maria isn't inclined to weep for dead Hydra agents, and Sharon asks her if she's even bothered to look at the correlation between youth unemployment and Hydra's new recruits. But then, maybe Maria doesn't have the time, what with Maria facing a tribunal for her crimes and all. Their "discussion" builds more into an argument, and Steve interrupts by saying he always come to the meetings late in hopes that the two of them will wear each other out. Maria says that Sharon started it - she actually has good news to share. They've found Baron Zemo.

Captain America: Steve Rogers #003 - 2016, July 27 [ 09 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 20 ]
Seconds after Steve pushes Jack Flag out of the plane (though, even Hydra-fied, he feels soooo bad about it), Sharon hears Free Spirit (Cathy) shout Jack's name and asks what's happening. Sharon curses and tells Cathy that the Helicarrier is coming to her with a med team on standby. She instructs Cathy to stay with Jack, and they're moving as fast as they can. She orders one of the other agents, a specialist, to decloak and descend, and when the specialist tries to point out something, repeats the order. Rick is the one who reminds her that this is a covert mission in Bagalia, famous for it's super-criminal residents, and that if the ship goes down, it might not come up again. It'll be like Black Hawk Down, only where the bad guys have laser eyes. Sharon wonders where Steve is, only for the specialist to tell her that a jet matching the description of the one Steve was in just crashed into a high rise ten miles west. Sharon declares that they're ending this.

She makes an announcement that the mission is now cancelled - it's a search and rescue mission now, and every agent with any weapons training is required to report to the lower deck. It'll take every bullet they have to get out of Bagalia.

She shows up just in time to stop Cathy from being harassed by some supervillains, including Crossfire. She makes a quip, then asks him to keep walking, since she's just there to pick up her friends. As they back off, she runs toward Cathy to ask how Jack is, ordering the med team to move and everyone else to keep them covered since every second counts. They're making good time, but she's still worried that the natives are getting restless. Before they can get back on the ship, she and others are hit by a blast.

It turns out that Taskmaster (!!!) is the sheriff in town (!!!), and greets Sharon ("Shar") by telling her he likes the whole Mrs. Robinson thing she has going on. She accuses him of being Zemo's backup in the field, but Taskmaster insists that he hasn't worked with Zemo in a while. He rattles off a bunch of laws that she's supposedly broken, and Sharon snaps back that Bagalia has no laws. The hypocrisy is what kills her. Taskmaster replies, "Nah, honey. I'm what kills ya," and stabs her in the right hand with a sword. He apologizes to the "Commander," and is about to shoot her to protect Bagalia's TripAdvisor rating when Steve kicks him from the side. Sharon notes that she knew he'd made it out. He runs over to ask if she's all right, and she pulls the sword from her hand, saying she's "Just fine" and to "Go."

Steve goes to fight Taskmaster with a ferocity that seems to take every Sharon by surprise, pummeling Taskmaster while saying, "You. Don't. Ever. Touch. Her. AGAIN!!" He goes to help Sharon up as the locals declare Martial Law. He orders everyone to close the ranks and tells Free Spirit to get moving, but Cathy refuses to leave Jack. Sharon sees how the villains are swarming the ship and points out that they might be arguing a moot point - at the rate things are going, there might not be a ship left. She asks Rick over the comm how he's doing and tells him to brainstorm solutions. Rick hacks into 14 major casinos on the Bagalia strip and starts draining their accounts, warning the supervillains over the intercomm that all their chips are about to become drink coasters. Just as Sharon says that that's the stupidest idea she's ever heard, the supervillains run to cash out before their chips are worthless. Not missing a beat, she orders her people to start moving again. Jack Flag still has a pulse.

Sharon is last seen in the issue addressing a congressional meeting as Steve talks about how Hydra's enemies are falling into the trap Hydra has set for them. Sharon's second panel has the text "seduced by their own thirst for power." (Which... not sure that applies to Sharon, since we've never seen that characterization before, but there it is.)

Captain America: Steve Rogers #004 - 2016, August 24 [ 13 14 ]
Sharon attends the Senate Intelligence Committee Hearing in DC to ask them to pass the SHIELD Act. The Act will enable SHIELD to take the fight to Hydra. Some Senators have concerns about the increase in surveillance, the wireless wiretapping, aggressive profiling, and more that basically turn SHIELD into the NSA on steroids. One notes that it appears the Act hands over the military powers to SHIELD, including the option to declare martial law.

Sharon agrees with their concerns. The bill is unprecedented because the threat they face is unprecedented. She doesn't envy them the choice they have to make. She reminds them that Captain America himself, who tries to stay above politics, was there in person to ask them to help pass the bill, and she doesn't think they'd want him to come back.

Black Widow V6 #06 - 2016, August 17 [ 09 ]
Exposition via the tail-end of a radio conversation features Commander Carter disavowing Natasha Romanoff and saying she no longer has any ties to SHIELD. Sharon also makes a point to say that Natasha - or Agent Romanoff - is a former Avenger.

Thunderbolts V3 #05 - 2016, September 28 [ 06 ]
Bucky hears about how Ulysses has foreseen that Spider-Man (Miles Morales) will kill Steve. He remembers the last time that happened and vows to prevent it. Another flashback to Steve's death in Captain America V5.

Captain America: Sam Wilson #14 - 2016, October 19 [ 06 07 09 11 12 13 ]

Agents of SHIELD V1 #10 - 2016, October 26 [ 19 20 21 ]
Agent Phil Coulson gets a visit in the hospital from Sharon, who greets him with "Damn it, Phil. You look like %$#@." When he thanks "Ms Carter" for her sympathy, she corrects him to say it's "Agent Carter," and that the uniform ought to be a giveaway. (( Note: I'm not 100% Agents of SHIELD is in 616 continuity and am going off on the Marvel wiki of Sharon's 616 appearance. )) He says he stands corrected and asks what he owes the pleasure of her company to. She says that Director Hill sent her - Maria was afraid if she talked to Phil herself, she might do something to put Coulson in the hospital. He compliments her on the joke, and she confesses that she has her moments. On a serious note, she's there to debrief him. She does so, wrapping up part of the arc before explaining that there's only one job that Phil Coulson is suited for. He asks if it's professional karaoke, and she responds with, "No, Phil. Not professional karaoke." The next page is him back with SHIELD, dressed as an agent and leading the charge.

Captain America: Steve Rogers V1 #006 - 2016, October 26 [ 15 ]

Captain America: Steve Rogers V1 #007 - 2016, November 9 [ 08 20 ]
Hydra has liberated Sokovia, and Sharon makes a statement that "While we've [SHIELD] long opposed the Sokovian government and its human rights abuses, Hydra cannot be allowed to establish territory in Europe. It would have a destabilizing effect on the the entire region and threaten global security interests in too many ways to count. We cannot allow fascism to return to power in the Western world."

Later, it's revealed that while officially, Natasha is no longer with SHIELD, unofficially, she's still doing off-the-book missions while Maria, Sharon, and Steve look the other way.
